Village Square Pizza & Ice Cream Parlor: Experience Deliciousness in Walker, MN

We love coming here every time we come up north! Friendly service who stopped back often. Delicious pizza - we always get the Kitchen Sink. A tradition for our family for decades. Great prices, too. We love this place.

We stopped by during our vacation from Nebraska. Such a cute little place inside and out! We got the Margherita pizza (without pine nuts) and it was delicious, the crust on it was really nice! The person behind the counter was kind and patient with us while we were deciding on what we wanted. We got ice cream afterwards. Same as the pizza side, service was awesome! The lady behind the counter was friendly and patient while my MIL and a group of ladies next to us sampled some flavors. I got Praline Pecan, always a favorite. My MIL got Lemon Bar and Chocolate Silk, she liked them a lot! Overall a wonderful experience!

The staff was very friendly great atmosphere. I ordered the Hot Hawaiian pizza. The jalapeno made the pizza hot which tasted like from a jar. I wish there was a kick in the sauce when one advertises a hot Hawaiian pizza. The crust was crunchy and the cheese was stringy. There was no herbs on it that I could taste.

Decent coffee. Okay service. Smoothies were not very good. They have a restaurant here as well as a coffee/ice cream bar. Outdoor and indoor seating is available here. They also have a small gift shop attached to the side. The coffee was decent, the fruit smoothie that my sister got was not very tasty. I would not recommend the smoothies here.

What a great restaurant. Home cooked foods. The tomato basil soup is beyond amazing. Great selection of food and beverages. I highly recommend and will be back. Thanks to the amazing staff!!!

We ordered from here while visiting Portage Brewing. Our party had pizza (Chicken Spinach Artichoke), the tomato basil soup, the Mediterranean Turkey Burger and the Heartland Grilled Turkey sandwich. Everything was excellent! As was the service. Will definitely be ordering from Village Square again!

The pizza wasn’t terrible. It tasted like the type of pizza you see turning in a glass box at snack shops. The Italian sausage sandwich was on special but it wasn’t anything special. It had ok flavor, and the sauce and cheese were decent. I’ve had better and worse elsewhere. The chicken and dumpling soup was probably the best part even though it looked kind of watery. The restaurant has a weird layout and the staff never came to refill our drinks even though we sat directly in front of them and they were just standing there talking. I can’t give this place high praise, but it’s ok.
